"To attend the CAV UHB strategic board programme meeting for diabetes - meeting is for an hour and a half, will go to clinic afterwards (but need to be clinically free to attend this Health Board level meeting please). Previously when I tried to do the NHS confederation meeting, without professional leave as it was the school hols, I couldn’t attend the meeting, as very busy POAC. Therefore requesting professional leave, so I can attend this important meeting to ensure that periop diabetes is included in future plans for the Health Board without concurrent clinical commitments.
